New House

Here are some pictures of our house we are renting in KS. It is a brand new 5 bedroom house that was just completed this week. The yard is getting sodded now and should be done when the kids and I move down. Nick is moving in this weekend!

Fun Pics!!

We have had a busy few months so time gets away from me so easily. Right now I am busy baking for weddings, birthdays, confirmations, photo shoots, just about anything you can think of. It is so fun to have all these orders. I hope it stays this busy in Kansas!! I am also trying to pack up the house. What a chore! My goal is 1-2 boxes every day. We have 5 weeks so I figure that is a good goal. The basement is done as much as I can do right now. I have to be able to live so the rest will wait until I am done with daycare. Now I am working on the upstairs. We have a lot of stuff!! I am collected quite the garage sale pile that is for sure. I am also loving Craigslist. I have gotten rid of a ton on there! I am posting all our big items on Craigslist so I don't have to haul them to my mom's for the garage sale. It is great to get rid of it!! I finished the boys birthday invitations yesterday afternoon. They turned out great. I can't believe how much one person can accomplish in one day!! I am hopeful that today is just as productive!! I am showing our house privately tomorrow afternoon. Please say lots of prayers that it sells. These people sound so interested.

You might have to turn the volume up to hear this but it is so precious! Charlie loves being sung to and rocked with at night. He is now starting to sing with me. I wanted to tape it somehow so I used the video part of my camera to get. I love memories like these!!

Good Byes :(

I hate saying good bye to my husband! It is the worst. The kids did a lot better this time though. He left this morning to head back to Kansas. We will be down in 10 days to visit him. I am so excited for the kids to go to Kansas and see where we will be living. When we go visit in a couple weeks we will be staying at our house. Nick is moving in next weekend...or whenever the bed gets delivered. I can't wait! It will be so great to have our house so the kids can get a grasp on how it will be when we move. We drastically reduced our price on our house so we are hopeful it will sell now. We want everything to fall into place before the kids and I make the trek down. Only 5 weeks until we move to Kansas. It is so crazy to say 5 weeks. It is going to go by so quickly!! Now I have a lot of work ahead of me. Any volunteers to come help me pack up this house???

Sick House :(

I am so done with the sickness that is lingering in this house. I have scrubbed everything, left the windows open and done lots of laundry. I am hopeful that the sickness has now left! Nick got home Wednesday night and hasn't been feeling the greatest since. He hurt his back Saturday ripping carpet out of the rental. Then we got the stomach flu on Sunday. Dean and Mary came and took the kids for the whole day Sunday so that Nick and I could just be sick and not worry about the kids. Monday came and it was an okay day but Nick's back is really bugging him. I don't think there is anything worse than back pain. It just sucks that he is so miserable while we have him home. He is leaving Sunday and Braeden is so sad that he hasn't gotten to play with his dad outside. Today Nick woke up with a migraine! SERIOUSLY!! Does it ever end!! We need him healthy because we have a long list of things to get done. He won't be back until the week before we move. I need some help while he is home. UGHH...it is frustrating! It is so beautiful outside right now too. The kids and I have been outside for 2 days straight. It is great! Nick finally was able to get out of bed at noon. He took Emma to run errands and take her out to lunch. I hope that Braeden is able to get some dad time tonight!! Let's hope all the illnesses have left at least until Sunday night!

The babies have arrived!!

Patsy, Graham and Sean welcomed two new baby boys to their family this morning. Isaac Graham and Andrew Mark! Isaac weighs 5lbs 9oz and is 18 1/2 inches long. Andrew weighs 6lbs 2oz and is 20 1/4 inches long. They are both doing great. Andrew had a little trouble breathing at first and spent some time in the nursery. He was united with his brother before noon today. Mom and babies are great!! Sean is such a proud big brother! It is so cute to see him. He was showing Isaac all his toys already. The hats I knitted fit perfectly. I better get making some bigger ones soon!!
