Bowling Night

I am so far behind in updating my blog. I apologize to everyone that keeps up with it. It was an extremely busy week for me. My dessert business is doing great and keeping me very busy. The wedding show is tomorrow and I can't wait to meet the brides.

Friday night we surprised the kids by taking them to Applebee's, which is their favorite place to eat, for supper. Then we took them bowling at the Wow Zone. It was a blast! The kids were so surprised and so excited to do something different. Braeden kept saying 'This is the best night ever!' That is what it is all about. Something as simple as going out to eat and bowling can make a huge impact. We all bowled and it was Charlie's first time bowling. He did great and had a blast. We are definitely going to plan more things to do. Our life just gets away from us. We need to sit back and enjoy it some too!!

Today I took Braeden out for lunch and to Barnes and Noble. It was our 'Outing' Day. I kept calling it a date and he said I couldn't call it that anymore. He called it an Outing, so funny that at 7 he is already getting embarrassed by things. It was so much fun to hang out with him without Emma and Charlie. I don't get as much time with him as I do the other two. I need to do that more often!!

I will post pictures tomorrow night. I am exhausted and need to get ready for the Wedding Show.

Wordless Wednesday

Congrats Molly and Nick

We are so excited to announce the arrival of our nephew Rylan Michael Burger. He was born this morning by c-section, weighing 9lbs 10.8oz and is 22 1/2 inches long. He is so perfect! Molly is doing great and Nick is a champ! We love you all and are so excited for you! Here are some pictures I took. Rylan is so alert. He is so curious of everything and is absolutely gorgeous!!

Auntie (again) Today...

Today I will become an Auntie again to one very special little baby. Baby Burger will be born this morning and we all can't wait to find out everything about this little baby. We love you Molly and Nick and know today will be great!!

Update...

Charlie is doing a great job at potty training! I am so glad and he asks to wear his underwear now. It is so great to not have to deal with diapers. It is still a chore with the constant reminders and putting him on the potty but hey it is better than diapers!!! Yeah Charlie!!

He has also graduated from his speech teacher. She no longer needs to come but we both agreed that she will still come once a month until May. Charlie loves to play with her and she said really enjoys him as well. We are going to miss Lynette when she after May! He is a chatter bug now. We can't get him to be quiet. It is adorable to hear him talk with his brother and sister. We are so thankful that everything has worked out so well. PHEW!!

Potty Training

We finally jumped on the bandwagon and have been working on getting Charlie potty trained. I started Thursday afternoon. Charlie is doing great! It has been a lot better than I ever anticipated it to be. Today we didn't have any #1 accidents. I am hopeful that #2 accidents will be gone tomorrow. I just feel like we follow him around all day and constantly ask him to go on the potty. I enjoy nap time when we don't have to worry about it for an hour. Lets hope he does well at church tomorrow. I will enjoy not having to buy diapers anymore!!
