Braeden's Surgery

We just got home from the Day Surgery Center. Braeden had his tubes out and he did great! He is drugged up and a little sleepy. Nick and him are watching a movie so hopefully he will take a nap. Here are some pictures from the surgery center...I know psycho mom doesn't go any where without the camera! He looked too little walking back to the operating room with the nurse :(

Fun Weekend....

We had a great weekend. Friday we took the kids to the YMCA pool with my sister Ali. The kids had a blast. Nick even commented on how fun it was! Ali works at the pool so when Emma asked to go down the slide Ali had some pull to make it happen. Our little Emma is not scared of anything. This worries me a little! She had a blast going down the slide. Ali rode with her and said that Emma laughed the whole way down. Charlie just sat with me and we were the spectators. Braeden had a great time just playing with his dad. He has surgery on Wednesday to have his tubes removed. This was his last time to swim for a few months while his ears heal.

Yesterday I spent the day decorating cookies with my friend and business partner Misty. We are booked with weddings this up coming weekend so we had to get the cookies done! They turned out amazing. You can check out our dessert website at http://www.decadentdessertsonline.blogspot.com/! Nick had all three kids and Charlie was not happy at all. The poor guy had to take all the kids to Braeden's flag football game. Thank goodness we have family that lives in town and is willing to help. Nick's parents and my sister, Molly, and her hubby were at the game as well. They helped keep Emma occupied while Nick tried to get Charlie happy. Try was the key word for the whole day when it came to Charlie. He didn't sleep at all for Nick so that didn't help his crabbiness either. Nick told me last night that he is for sure done having kids. Three is impossible and he can't imagine four! He had a rough day.

Today Nick and Braeden went to a friend's house to watch the football game. Emma, Charlie and I are going to take naps! I love Sundays and I love them more when I have a quiet house!! I hope you all had a great weekend. Keep Braeden in your prayers for Wednesday. I know he will do just fine!

What a week!!

This week has been crazy and I can't even say that we did anything that exciting. Braeden had late start on Tuesday so that means I had him and one other boy in the morning. That made for extra chaosis in my already hectic house. Braeden has had a busy week. Tuesday he had TaeKwonDo and Flag Football practice. I think he fell asleep before his head hit the pillow. Emma, Charlie, Nick and I went to his practice to watch. All the kids had other agendas and didn't listen. We think late start day made them all crazy and hyper active since they could sleep in. Wednesday Braeden had TaeKwonDo and I was able to go watch him. Nick's mom came and took care of the daycare kids while I went to TaeKwonDo. Props to Mary because I have quite the troop of 3 year olds. She does great with them. Charlie was also napping so I left him at home too. It was nice to be able to go watch Braeden without a child to worry about. He is doing so well and has come a long way in such a short time! I am so thankful that we have family close to help get Braeden to TaeKwonDo every day. My sister Ali takes him Tuesdays and then joins us for supper. Nick's mom or dad take him on Wednesdays which is perfect! I am so glad that today is Friday and the week is just about over. It has been so nice out but the kids are just hyper active. It is wearing me out!

Charlie's 4 Months Old

It is so hard to believe that Charlie is already 4 months old. The time goes by so fast. He went to the doctor for his 4 month check-up today. He is a peanut! The doctor is concerened with his weight and his spitting up. He started on prevacid tonight and will now have to take it twice a day. I just gave it to him and he took it like a champ. I was worried that this was going to be a battle every time. I am so glad that it wasn't...well at least for tonight ;) He will go back in a month for more shots and a weight check.

Charlie:
Weight: 12lbs 12oz (10th percentile)
Height: 25 Inches (50th percentile)

Braeden at 4 months:
Weight: 16lbs 9oz (75th percentile)

Emma at 4 months;
Weight: 15lbs 6oz (90th percentile)

Charlie has a lot of catching up to do! We have to start cereal too so hopefully that will help him to gain weight. He is a very happy boy. He sleeps a ton and is very easy going. I will keep you updated on his progress.

Charlie Laughing....

Charlie was laughing so hard for me last night. I tried to get it on video but he wouldn't laugh that hard once I got the camera out. I did get some great giggles though. Just ignore the crappy camera work and my obnoxious voice!!

TaeKwonDo

Braeden earned is white belt yesterday at TaeKwonDo. He was so excited when he got home. He had a rough day at Kindergarten so I was so happy he listened long enough to earn his belt yesterday. He looks so cute in his uniform. I will take some pictures tonight and post them so you can all check him out!

First Day of School

Braeden started Kindergarten on the 4th. It was such a great day for him and so sad for me. I am excited to watch him grow up but it just seems to go by way to quickly. He hasn't really told Nick or me much about school. When we ask him what his favorite thing was he just says.."coloring." We know he has done a lot more then just coloring.
